The immersion into a critique of this ancient institution seeks to channel a kind of inverse exorcism, and centers on the notion of Sin. Sin in two dimensions: the sin committed through hypocrisy, and the sin unjustly projected onto its penitents—specifically, onto women.

The woman depicted here is mature and self-assured, rebelling against divine laws. These are women who, fully aware of having been unjustly marked as the source of misfortune, shame, and guilt tied to the flesh, now choose to confront Him in His Palace. They are consciences engraved by the fear of Sin—the very Sin they now hurl back at Him, sometimes with humor, but always with calm and resolve.

The other side of this story is excreted by the source itself—the one who judges, emits, and simultaneously casts sin onto the weak. It is a force that radiates deceit and cunning, burdening others with the anguish of guilt. Sinful behavior in contrast to the righteousness of its own doctrine.

"Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and unto God what is God’s."

But here, there are only Thoughts, Words, Acts, and Omissions—transformed into Images.
